Job Summary

Our Accounts Assistant role would be perfect for someone with a high attention to detail and great communication skills and the ability to confidently deal with queries from customers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

While experience in accounts or a relevant degree is beneficial, it's not mandatory. This role offers continuous training, support, and a collaborative environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to continue developing your career within Finance with ongoing training, support, and a chance to work in a team of highly experienced Accounts Assistants and finance professionals.

You’ll be joining a very collaborative team in a great work environment. There are opportunities for progression to more senior positions in the finance team or within the wider business.

This role is 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively handle candidate, client, and supplier enquiries by phone and emails
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • Daily receipts allocation
  • Accurate and efficient data entry
  • Maintain accurate and up to date spreadsheets
  • Assist with posting of staff expenses each month

Who you are:

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable dealing with queries over the phone and email
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Open to learning and progressing with an interest in finance
  • Desirable - Previous experience within a transactional accounts position OR a graduate in relevant degree would be advantageous.
  • Desirable - MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables & V-Lookups etc.)
