Job Summary
  
Due to some internal movement within our management accounts team, we are actively looking for an experienced assistant management accountant to join our team here in Bristol. The role would be perfect for someone with a high attention to detail with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.

Required Skills Experience

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar accounting & finance position – 3- 4 years in an assistant management accounting role would be preferred.
  • Proficient IT skills; Windows applications – Outlook, Excel and Word 
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels (internal and external) 
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information 
  • Ability to prioritise 
  • Ability to think strategically, problem solve, exercise good judgement and lead change 
  • Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done 
  • Experience of SAGE Intacct (desirable not essential)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist month end management accounts 
  • Complete invoice reconciliations between systems 
  • Process group overhead supplier invoices daily 
  • Reconcile supplier statements, and deal with supplier queries 
  • Process monthly payment runs for all suppliers 
  • Managing daily cash payments 
  • Complete and resolve issues within balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Assist with the annual budget process 
  • Variance analysis 
  • Produce and analyse any ad hoc reporting requested by the business
